For instance, let’s say that we were looking for more information about digital marketing and SEO. We found the following link on the organic search results page. It contained the following sentence: “This company produces green shoes that help you breathe better.” This link was placed there by the words “digital marketing”, “SEO” and “organic search results”.

If we were to analyze this sentence, we would see that there are three important factors at play. First, the color green has been used to denote a product or service that is environmentally friendly. In addition, we know that the last part of the sentence, “breathe better”, is asking the question of whether or not green shoes will work to improve someone’s breathing. The keyword “green” is very highly relevant to the subject matter. Therefore, we can conclude that the above SEO strategy really back linked the goal of improving the user’s search engine rankings.
